About Lynia White

My name is Lynia White. I own and operate The Quality Corner and BlackBookReview.com.  I am located in Blacklick, Ohio, USA.  Blacklick is a small suburb right outside Columbus, Ohio.  I relocated to the Columbus area in 2003.  I was born and raised in Detroit, MI.  I have been married for nearly 15 years and we have no children.  The only baby we have is our Jack Russell Terrier, Oreo.

I opened The Quality Corner in 2008 and expanded with BlackBookReview.com in 2010. Since then I have enjoyed watching my business grow.  I am passionate about reading and that is why I began blogging about books and writing book reviews.  My favorite author is John Grisham.  Whenever I take a road trip, I must have an audiobook to get me through the ride.

I echo the sentiments of the esteemed author, Helen Keller – “More than any other time, when I hold a beloved book in my hand my limitations fall from me, my spirit is free.”
